How it works:
- Starting September 15th P’kolino will promote a deal on particular product
- When a customer purchases that promoted item @ pkolino.com they must choose a neighborhood store to get the credit
- If they choose your store; the credit is yours.
- You don’t need to do a thing and the credit you can receive is unlimited.
How can you make the most of this program?
- Make sure your
store is listed and up to date at the pkolino.com store locator.
- Take
note of your store’s code and share
your code.
- Sharing your code with other will help increase the credit your store receives.
- An easy way to share your code is with our convenient code cards.
Additional Details:
- Why are we doing this? To increase awareness and demand for P’kolino products and encourage patronage of our retail partners. We believe this is a win-win program. Retailers, by receiving program credits, can improve their bottom line for doing little more than being liked. By aggressively promoting deals of a single product, the program will not only increase familiarity of the entire P’kolino line, but also increase awareness of where customers can by those product in their neighborhood.
- What’s in it for P’kolino? If the credit from the sale is going to my store what is in it for P’kolino? P’kolino wants to increase awareness, understanding and demand for its products. P’kolino believes the best way to do this is online, through its website; pkolino.com. (Just about everyone researches online and deals are an attention getter). P’kolino will continue to work hard to create demand for its products via PR and traditional marketing; such as magazine coverage and design awards. (See the results of these efforts here). P’kolino has not as aggressively promoted pkolino.com because it is not our intention to direct customers away from our retailers. By sharing any promotional profits with the retailer P’kolino works to bring more people to pkolino.com while promoting and crediting specialty retailers.
General FAQs:
- How much credit will the neighborhood store get? The store will earn as much (perhaps more; because they have no transaction costs) as if they sold it themselves. The store will receive a credit for the difference between what the product(s) was sold for and what it would have cost the store to have P’kolino drop-ship that item.
- How does a store get credit? Customers buying through Pkolino.com identify the store they would like the credit to go to. Customers can identify their chosen store by visiting our store locator. In the store’s listing will be that store’s code. The code must be entered during checkout to get the discount. A store will get the credit. P’kolino will contact the store with the good news.
- How is the credit redeemed? The full value of the store credit is applicable to new wholesale orders. (Standard wholesale terms apply). Credit is for U.S. stores only. Credit can not be applied to shipping. There is no limit to the number/amount of credit a retailer can accumulate. P’kolino will notify the retailer of their credit via email. Please note that credit will expire on December 30, 2011.
