Jared Ganrude Jared Ganrude still insists that he could have made it to the moon in his cardboard rocket-ship he created as a child. Raised in the North-woods of Wisconsin, Jared was shown how to avoid bears and start fires with friction. The son of two art teachers, he was taught early on in his life how to use a variety of media to create drawings, models, and other compositions. While learning to draw and paint he also started to wonder what made his personal radio work, so he took it apart. He eventually took everything he owned apart. "How does it work?" "Why does it work?" These are questions that he still often asks, and are what drove him to enroll in the University of Wisconsin's Industrial Design program at UW-Stout.

After graduation he found himself in South Florida, where there are far fewer bears and many more boxes. Jared got to relive his youth creating things out of cardboard while working as a structural designer for a packaging manufacturer. In the last few years he has done illustrations for computer games and children's books.

Jared is currently part of the creative team at P'kolino.
