Elizabeth Ganrude          Elizabeth Ganrude (b. 1985) is a product designer originally from Burlington, Wisconsin.  She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts-Industrial Design degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.  She moved to Florida in 2007, and joined the P’kolino team where she is the chief product designer today.

Her professional work has been recognized both nationally and internationally by many publications and parent groups.  Some of the awards include Best Toys of the Year (3 years) Parent’s Magazine, Practical Pre-School UK gold award, Creative Child Magazine’s Top Toy of the Year, and numerous others.  Most recently, the Robot Geared Shape Sorter was featured on the Today Show, as one of the hottest toys of 2011.
 
In her personal work, she likes to explore ways of creating new objects with non traditional materials.  She enjoys the challenge of creating something beautiful out of something that is often seen as trash.  She believes there is always a solution to every problem.
