A versatile designer and creative developer, Pete Oyler has broad experience working within diverse artistic realms. From furniture/interior design and creative direction to idea development, Oyler’s approach to design is interdisciplinary in spirit and process. With a background in art history and critical theory and an MFA in Furniture Design, Oyler’s interests are broad and lie in the intersections of design, culture, and socio-spatial relationships.

Oyler’s design work has been showcased (inter)nationally – most recently at the Stella McCartney NYC Kid's Store, the  Milan Fuori Salone and at Vienna Design Week.   Oyler studied woodworking in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina at Penland School of Crafts. Following his time there, he worked in various studios expanding his technical repertoire to include metal working, concrete casting, and mold making.   In 2009 he received his MFA in Furniture Design from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and his thesis body of work won RISD's Award of Excellence.  In  2010 Oyler was featured in Surface Magazine’s Avant Guardian issue.  He currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
